Cloudy and cool here until mid-afternoon when the sheet of Sc broke up to allow sunny periods.

Still feeling cool in the wind with a current temp' of 10.1c according to the Davis on the roof mast.

The Met' Office forecast for the Peak District on their website is a direct contradiction to that given out by Peter Gibbs after the early evening news on the BBC. 

The former talks of a dry start followed by an afternoon of showers which may turn heavy and thundery whereas the latter indicates a dry but cloudy day with a brisk NE wind.

I think I'll just wait and see what happens.

Yeah I've tanned a little this week. Very sunny week on the whole and was nice yesterday afternoon after about 3.

Reasonable thundery risk tomorrow with a convergence lying from the SE to SW midlands. North midlands probably escaping any thunder risk. Wolverhampton southward ish seems a decent bet but Worcester/Hereford area in particular I think. Warm too tomorrow with 15-18c likely.

Started to rain here about 13:15. Looks to be stopping now (15:00) so damp and cool Easter day here in Solihull.

Never mind its stopped me doing the lawns!!

Northern sky just looks a bit flat but the southern sky is looking a bit busy.

 

Not going to say it will or it won't yet...I think we're close enough to maybe luck into something...but we'll need more popping up, and it's getting on a bit now.

Very dark clouds moving in overhead, breeze has picked up from deathly still before. Sferics going mad to the SE and E of us.

Edit: And it passed us by, looks like Hereford area is getting it now. Only clipped us with a few rumbles and splashes, not much else.
