Just heard a deep growl of thunder - looking very dark to the south again - and there's more  thunder...

Recent big rumble here, with a flash of lightning. Looks like Blizzards stuck to his promise of bringing thunderstorms to us today. Let's hope all the storm fans in the region get one. :)

Dark, thundery clouds to the north.

Beautiful clear skies to the south.

And marble-sized hail falling from directly above!

I'm trying to work out if anything more is on it's way here - difficult to tell from the radar. Plenty bubbling up to our SW, but that's sliding away.

Hearing the odd (really) distant rumble, but might be something else besides thunder. Meh. :/

Before someone says, oi out of my regional Posted Image , I'd just like to state to Dale, the Beeb have suggested there are storms in the vicinity of Coventry and Birmingham so Atherstone might see a storm after all. Posted Image

 

EDIT: in fact, there is a monster cell to your SW with some vicious echoes which is presumably the one you have caught on camera
