No snow here overnight, in fact very little precipitation of any description. Today perhaps?

Currently it's chilly and overcast with a temperature of 0.8c.

Had an extremely close lightning bolt here in Falmouth about an hour ago. Think it struck about 20-50m away. Can I bring back the thunderstorms too tomorrow?

Indeed, anything E of South usually works very well for the Midlands. However I cant really remember the last time storms were almost tracking pretty much directly from the East! Quite rare!

Wondering how high elevation members doing, had visions of a white out for Will, TM and PM, here has been sleet now for around an hour, even though temp is high at 3.2C

Just cold rain, again. Shropshire really is an electrical storm desert, it's like there's a giant Faraday cage up in the air over us. It might turn to sleet if it gets heavier, but way too warm for settling snow.

Please do. With non-electrified soft hail/sleet and rain showers here today, I think we could definitely do with your help of adding more of a thundery feel for the Midlands. No low-quality thunderstorms are allowed to be brought up please - just the ultra high-quality ones. Thanks. :) ;-)

Just went outside with the back light on and there appears to be a few odd wet sleety snowflakes mixed in with the rain right now. Bit of a nice surprise. :)

Quite so far today, But that may change in the next few hours with showers coming up from the south? Looking at the radar http://www.raintoday.co.uk/mobile It'll be more the south/southwest of our region that will feel the full impact of these afternoon potential rain/hail/thunderstorms.... I'm sure Bilzzards having a nice time of it down south,

Because thats where all the actions as been so far to day...kabooom Posted Image

Some nice strikes just to the south of us atm http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=lightning;sess=Posted Image
