Well think I will go to local for a few pints hopefully when I leave around midnight we might be seeing the 1st reports of falling snow. At least pubs got free wi fi so can keep checking rain today between beers lol.

Just what I was thinking joggs, is the odd thing popping up in the north sea but I expect this to pick up soon, also the heavier stuff towards cumbria seems to be edging further south two. Just a waiting game for now..

Yeh the waiting games the worst thing(I drink faster)yeh getting you about the heavier ones up north drifting further south.Hopefully by the time they work more south to meet irish sea developments(airmass with an airmass sort of speak) we'll see things kick off :drunk:

yeah the netweather one is decent, seems accurate to me. I have it on precipitation type too, but its going to be snow anyway tonight. I also find that having it on type allows the map and locations to show through easier to see better.

What radars do you all use?

Hey joggs, I use meteoradar it has an option in the top left corner to view the precipitation as rain, sleet and snow too. It's also in 5min timeframes.

I'm tempted to buy net weather extra simply for the 5 minute radar but I think it would drive me nuts over analysing it and clicking refresh every 3/4 minutes

I used to think the 30 minute radar updates was good, but every 15 minutes as most are now is perfect.
