Think that's pretty much it looking at radar. Also tues weds next week looks very poor for us. Looks like a decaying front that breaks up rapidly. Ah well we always have the solar minimum going into 2017. That should bring some fun and games regarding our winters in future. But after what proved so much earlier in the week has gone out with abit of a whimper.

Uh.. not on the model output I'm looking at. I see snow on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Too early to pinpoint any details.

A post from fergie from the MOD thread

Yes. Greatest risk (of disruptive snow) NI and Scotland in MOGREPS too. That aside, UKMO lean towards broader snow risk essentially mid-Wales northwards. Some accumulations also likely S and E of here between Tues-Thurs. Anyway, all in line with previous assessment over past day or two, but devil still in detail. Confidence high now to mid-Tues but not thereafter.

so as it stands,a good chance in our neck of the woods,BUT still too early for specifics.

no 50p sized flakes, only fine at the mo, but its snowing now. Its a very slow progress south on this band, lets see how much cover it gives. Only thin atm.

Sleety stuff here though few more flakes mixed in now, think my low altitude is deciding factor

Still water to go under the bridge, if any kind of Easterly sets up better sited can't win them all, least not too far East for midweek, though might as well put a pin on the map blindfold way things chop and change lol
