My location has to be one of the most cursed areas for snow in the country. It is always either E, W ,N or S of here. Getting very frustrating

Right on the edge here and it is still all moving sw rather than southerly is this meant to change so that others in the region gets some?

Not so sure it is going South... going to miss me in central London. grrr

Bedtime for me. Everything is sliding to the west and heading west around the M25 not over it...

Dire winter this – entirely frustrating from start to finish!!

The snow seems to be heading SW, rather than SSW and fear it could miss out London entirely

Yep giving it a miss now seems to be sliding west

Yep it's sliding west but if you look to the east you will see the feed is moving south, I think we will all get something by the end of the night.

Very poor BBC forecast at 10.30. No mention of the snow that is spreading sw and is even knocking on the door of parts of SW Midlands. Why don't these forecasters do the simple thing of looking at the radar!!

Looking good for snow showers to return here from the Wash.

I think Peterborough area looks the sweet spot - maybe 5-7cm if they tap into that new streamer along the wash

2cm North of London

South of London & kent- unsure yet....

S

Cheers Steve. Interesting radar watching. I would pleased with 2cms in my area. I hope to see more ppn pushing in from the coast during the night to give the London guys something.

Good night all, I'm not wasting another night hoping to see snow in the Medway towns...we've done amazingly well in previous years so can be thankful for that I suppose. I'll keep an eye on the next few days, see if the weather can surprise us!

The line of showers basically stretches along the m4 but stops west of london as it slides SW , shame a 50 mile shift East and we all be having fun

They ALWAYS  seem to skip over the overnight forecasts, I assume this is because they don't want people to cancel any plans they may have for tomorrow by overstating the accumulations, rather than just falling snow.

“@EssexWeather: @RGSweather One of the models I like to use in this set-up is HARMONIE and that initiates a Thames Streamer from 16:00 tomorrow.â€
