Just been talking to someone in the know and they've just told me that the snow shield is expected to remain online

Does anyone know if the dewpoint is going to drop. -1.6 at 6pm, 0 now. What little snow we had is now cascading out of the trees as water

Good to see some others have had snow. The PPN has always remained about 10-15 miles away to my NW as it has moved past.

Bound to get a shower or 2 over next 9+ hours though.

I think more worryingly is the Temps and Dewpoints coming in from Norfolk at the moment, earlier snow now melting, Dp's rising above 0c, another mild sector or the marginal stuff for tomorrow coming south faster than planned.

Nighty Night!

Missed out on the heavy stuff that was heading straight toward, however light snow falling may give 1cm.

No concerns of thawing snow here as temps are 0C and dewpoints of -2C.

After last shower I reckon we have around 5cm outside.

If there's a mild sector in this snow band it can stay where it is, I'm happy with my -3.3dp -1.1temp and moon dog.

Am guessing some stunning pictures will be coming in of this tonight!

I'll be posting mine tomorrow. Got the whole halo in somehow.

Nice picture, i keep looking at the radar but it does have that sense of inevitability that it will miss our location!!

wow, it's pretty painful to watch that precip slipping southwestwards, especially as the temps are the right side of marginal now - from an IMBY perspective, is there any other precip expected to make it to the soutcoast tonight?

I see the Metoffice still have a warning for snow for our area between 6am - 10am tomorrow, or is this just wishful thinking?

Glad to see some people have manage to get a decent covering tonight anyway...

I'll just post this pic here of the halo moon, and it's little mate Jupiter, as a consolation  !2j3l74w.jpg

Am I the only one who hasn't had snow that is still reasonably optimistic?!

I have ruled it out yet - we've got all night.

Granted I might sleep through it but whilst I am that dark orange streamer blob is going to beef up and cover us all. Even us on the south Coast :D
