A small chance of wintriness over the highest peaks again overnight so it seems, a few sparsely separated showers during tomorrow too, wintry on the highest hills once again, so the cooler trend continues. Sunday milder but increasingly wet and windy as the day wears on.

Down to 3.2c as I type this, DP 1.7c.

yes I'm hoping to see something of a wintry flavour between now and Tuesday at some point.

Seen some snow today!!.....OK I was in Copenhagen; light snow falling, but for a few days this week got a total snow-fix in Sweden, must have been 80-90% snow cover in Stockholm, with huge piles of snow in carparks and any spare land. Talking with locals, the last real snowfall was 3 weeks ago and with temps above freezing for many days, the snow thaws really slowly! Cold ground I guess and they keep their Christmas lights going, so very festive!

If only the UK was that much further north and east..........

Looks like the MetO and BBC got it spot on. The GFS and NMM died a death on that one.

GFS was correct with the band into SW 10pm until 1am, nae and MO got it correct after that.

I call it a draw.

-1 each.

The MetO was showing heavy rain from midnight until 2am, and then dry from then on, on my app. That's exactly what happened here.

Awoke to snow falling! Nothing settled though!

update so an hour of wintery ppn. Ranging from cold rain to full on snow. Think I might take a walk on the higher Moor later

They can keep it! I'm in glorious warm sunshine and 6°C while helping someone move.

It will never be as good as February 3rd anyway. :D

No wintriness here yet but a lovely bright day instead, feeling chilly though in the wind despite the little bit of strength from the sun.

Observing the new IOS App Netweather have released, sleet and snow showers are shown across South Wales and the Moors of SW England recently?

Recently had a sleet shower move through here. Started as rain but some big wet flakes were included while it was heavier. Moved off to the southeast now.

Have had another sleet/wet snow shower since. Grass and car roof went temporarily white but it all melted pretty soon after the shower passed.

Hail in Weston, but no snow.

Coming back down the M5 we passed through a couple of sleety showers.

Looks like that's it for showers today. Was nice to see a little bit of wintriness even though that could be managed even in April.

Forecasts suggesting possibility of more widespread wintry showers on Monday on a strong wind. Even the BBC have a sleet symbol for here.

Had three or four showers today plus lots of spits and spots, but everything that fell from the sky was Hail, or soft Hail. Strange day lol.

Cotswolds had a dusting when I was driving north up the M5 this morning, looked like the Malverns got some as well.

Great to be out on a clean convective afternoon, many CBs from 13.00 onwards and heavy fallstreaks of rain and hail against clear sky behind with pleasant sunshine in between the sharp showers.
