A low of 1.4°C

Currently 7.1°C and blue skies.

 

I'm looking forward to fishing with these tides coming up. The Spring low tide here (Poole Entrance) on Friday, says 0.0m in my tide book. I've been down to dig bait at 0.2m- you could almost walk to Brownsea Island, so i'm intrigued to see what 0.0m is like. I guess, if the LP comes in, it won't be as low, but high tide will be exceptionally high?!

A fair bit of ice scraping this morning-as the overnight moisture has rapidly frozen in the early hours. Not good woke the wife up, using the ice scraper on the windscreen this morning, Oops

Had a job to open my car door this morning as it was frozen shut almost as if you had washed the car

What a stunning day! Calm, clear blue skies and feeling pleasant away from the shade after a low of -2C. So much better than the wind and rain so many like on here.

So the uncertainty re Friday continues, with today's Points West forecast showing heavy rain as opposed to yesterday's sunny icon!

 

I concur with others about the frozen car doors and icy surfaces this morning, min here was -1.9c .

Another glorious morning. Not looking forward to it going downhill tomorrow though. I'm hoping the rain stays further east on Friday if it can't fall as snow.

I have noticed that net weather snow risk running throughout forecast on several days for Friday, Sunday and Tuesday so far... could winter turn up a late surprise maybe?  :clapping:  :clapping:

just a little interest for those of us in the north and north east of the region on Friday, as a little open low zips along the south coast/English Channel.......the 12z NMM models quite a bit of ppn for the region as a whole, with dewpoints and T850's just low enough to give the chance of a wintry flavour to ppn, with the 0c isotherm modeled to drop to 500-400m......a bit of straw clutching, yes....but possibly worth keeping one eye on
