When I went to the shops half-an-hour ago light rain had begun.  Still 18C outside.  This is a warmer evening than during our so-called "summer".

Still 16.9°C here and maybe some thunder tonight or tomorrow; the wind direction is good, se, which is a vital variable as I have said.

My location has just caught some shower's right now. It appears to be rather very mild though; 15'C perhaps?

Well that was a very mild night for October! Didn't get below 15c, currently 15.6c. Overcast and damp underfoot.

terrible start to the day , but at least my winter holiday is booked :)..

where are you off now lol

I know I keep saying this but it amazes me how un-wet and windy it was last night here after reading posts like this. Calm and damp would be a better description. Makes me unusually glad that I live where I do.

calm and damp here this morning

Today has been a lovely day for early October. After a very mild night we have been left with warm spells of sunshine and 19C. This feels warmer because of the humidity. :)

Hopefully some thunder tonight.

Wow the 2nd consecutive October day above 20C. Maximum was 20.0°C so only Just, but that equals The number of such days in the whole of September.

Hello everyone. Back out of hibernation. Hope your all well & had a good summer.

Looking forward to the winter ahead....feeling quite mild outside, which I don't mind right now, as I turned my central heating off to save a few quid before winter begins.

Just started raining Here!

I was just about to post the same thing. The sun has since gone in and the sky is looking very disturbed. Looks like that very heavy rain will hit us soon.

And just like that the sun is back in the sky, got quite dark 25mins before to the point where I needed to turn the lights on just to read the keyboard.

Just had a heavy downpour (beginning to forget what rain looked like!), but no thunder - a little clearance now but more rain coming up from the south and it looks like we could be an anchor point overnight as it pivots and sweeps out to the east bringing fresher weather tomorrow.

Silly season might start early in the model thread, with building excitement over D+15 charts.
