It was stunning today, not a cloud to be seen and no wind too, very similar to a short spell we had in April.

An overnight minimum of 2°C last night and some light to moderate fog this morning. Quite a contrast to yesterday.

Mist and fog had burnt off to leave another stunning day, without

Sounding miserable the start of next week, has rain bands

Moving SW-NE with some strong winds thrown in to make it

Feel very Autumnal, however if models are to believed, HP

Could establish itself over the Uk towards the end of next

Week.

Minimum with 6.3°C last night so the coldest night of the autumn so far here.

In contrast to the last few mornings it's quite misty here and the sun still hasn't burned through it just yet, but it's bright with occasional glimpses. Got down to 5.9c overnight the coldest so far this autumn.

Fog had dissipated not long after sunrise, leaving another lovely warm sunny day. In the past hour it has turned incredibly hazy, can't see the fells at all, never known anything like it.

Foggy first thing but by my getting-up time it was sunny.  A few tiny fair-weather Cu over lunch but the afternoon was cloudless.  Calm all day. I can see the aircraft lights on Stanlow's smokestacks at 8 miles but locally seems to be a very slight mist.  Overnight min: 5.4C, max: 20.9C, currently 9.3C.  Pressure last night was 1031mb, now 1018mb so falling.

A sunny and calm day with a max temp of 15.9°C. Getting cold now, already 8.7°.

Temperature has risen here from 7.7 to 9.6°C in under an hour. Must be a wind change.

Clear when I was in Bury at 7am, visibility at about 100m higher up the motorway, clear at home but fog now here as well.

Temperature here is 5.8c so not to cold but feels quite raw and damp.

Certainly an autumn feel to the weather over the last couple of days.

fog here too, quite horrible :(..

Was hoping it would have cleared by now but still grey, misty and horrible.

Never mind I'm sorting holiday stuff ready for packing so something to look forward to.

Not as much fog here as Thurs morning, but lots of low-level cloud with misty pockets over the hills... doubt it will lift much today, depressing the temperature somewhat.

Misty morning and it's lifted into low cloud with just the odd glimpse of the sun now and again! Feels quite cool without the sun, 12.7c.

Such a contrast to yesterday. It's gone from nearly 20C and sunshine to a max of 10C with low cloud and fog.

 

I want yesterday back. :whistling:
