Cloud kept the temperature up last night with a min of 9.1°C. Still only 9.6

Cloud broke up overnight to allow the temp to fall down to 3.0c, heavy dew on the grass but no ground frost.... Still waiting for the first frost.

Soon clouded over this morning, just got back from Gretna and it was cloudy up that way as well with temps held back to 11c.

Well it was clear last night before bed and the temp was down to 4c. Cloudy this morning and 7.8c.

It is just unbelievably hard to get a sunny high pressure in this part of the World, no matter what season. :nonono: Heavy grey skies again. T as of 09.00 = 10.4C.

Frustrating as its overcast here but to the north towards Scotland I can see the edge of the cloud where the sun is shining..

Looks like my grass will need another cut before winter takes hold. Stayed cloudy all day with a top temp of 12.6c.

0ne of the paragraphs in there will be true, and I believe it, 'more Atlantic storms than usual' to me suggests a very mild normal December
