Surprised there isn't much of a storm-surge with this, forecasts were going for UP TO 40ft along the coast yet waves are still breaking on the beaches, and with landfall imminent.

I'm sure that the Sunday Express will have front page headlines warning us that Hurricane Patricia will be heading our way come Thursday, packing 110mph gust and 4 inches of rain.

After a lot of wobbling in track, to the NE, N and even NW, does look like the eye is making landfall soon between Emiliano Zapata and La Manzanilla.

With the eyewall collapse, not such a tight core of the strongest winds, (ie 190mph winds 15-30 miles max from the centre) rather the strongest winds will be more spread out - which is not so good ...

I cannot see an eye wall on any of the cameras yet. Is there still yet to be an eye wall?
