Sleet here another chance on Friday maybe but bet as Friday approaches it will get watered down yet again. Not going to happen this winter

I looked outside at 5.30 this morning to big wet flakes coming down settling on the cars...... And now it's?  Yes you've guessed it..SLEET

It's trying to turn here.

Nope it gave up but it's very marginal wouldn't be suprised if somewhere in the Midlands got snow

It's snowing here, moderately heavy aswell with biggish flakes. I don't know how long for though because i've only just got up and noticed. It's not settling anyway but it's nice to see some snowflakes fall.

Actually it's got lighter now and turned back to rain. It seems that if it's snow you want to see you have to depend on the heavier bursts. Case in point it's starting to get slightly heavier again as I type and therefore more sleety, but it seems to be an on off situation.

Sitting in the conservatory (well, it's more of a lean-to really, lol), waiting for the sound of the rain to get softer.....

That's the moment you realised how snow starved you are! ;)

I think to be honest Friday is our last chance this winter.  The ecm was good  but it always comes down to the uppers not being cold enough  In my opinion i think we will just miss out again and it be more of a northern affair.  Lets hope not

I agree that's why I am off to Buxton lol. Friday at present looks more favourable but we shall see

Don't give up hope yet weirpig- my daughter's birthday is 21st March, and there's frequently been snow around then!

Turning a bit sleety here now....
