The front of the showers already being zapped by the Welsh mountains.

It would be good if those moutains or come to think of it if Wales wasnt there.

Can someone call the Japanese or Chinese tocome and shift/relocate it please.....

Thanks daisy, careful now with that whiskey bottle.. :D

I dare not hit it...yet!

I need to see the stuff falling before I decide to have a hangover tomorrow.  It would be my luck to wake up tomorrow in tropical sunshine knowing I am going to have 30 kids screeching at me whilst I struggle with a whisky 'cold' :D

The dew point here is in the minus, the temp is cold, now I just need the ppn.

I'm a novice and the reason I used to go to the mod thread was to learn so I've no issue with that. There are just some posters there who are either unwelcoming to us novices and others posting stuff that's downright covblers even to my untrained eye!

totally understand FH, so from a forum team perspective, you are more than welcome to post in the model thread, and if you get any grief then let me know and I'll give 'em some grief back....same applies to everyone who feels uncomfortable posting in the mad  mod thread :)

Oi!

If we absolutely have to be shifted we must demand to be plonked somewhere near Norway. Our extreme Northerly latitude and mountains would ensure we get buried every single winter.

the 12z NMM hi-res output is also modelling a trough to sweep down from the north through parts of our region tomorrow afternoon/early evening....parameters are marginal for snow, but one to watch?

yes, some nice snow streamers showing up spilling down from the NW......They will probably weaken somewhat as precip is leached out by the welsh mountains, but looks promising!

Could this be the night I actually want the 10 week old to be awake most the night to aid lamp post viewing?

Well I finally saw some of the white stuff today. Not much and I missed it falling from the sky but hey I'm not gonna be picky.

Drove up to Princetown on top of Dartmoor and they had a very light covering.

Fingers crossed that something will come out of the showers heading our way. We can't all miss out again, surely?!!!!!

Shame the Bristol Channel isn't a bit wider to help them pick up some more moisture!!
