I'm tempted to get on a train and head West with the kids as soon as it snows, a bit like a day out at the seaside but with sledges.

Now there's a plan. Probably only time we'll see snow this winter. *checks trains from Reading to Bodmin*

Does a possible 1-3 cm over 200m warrant a met office warning I mean really how will I manage to drive to work in such treacherous drifting conditions :D:rofl:

If they really though only above 200m, I'm not so sure there would be a warning, so it's a non committal warning imo.

Either that or the entire west country will be heading for the nearest high ground in search of snow, that'll be it lol

Yes I'm surprised that the warnings aren't further west because going by the latest euro4 the movement has a distinct southeast movement to it .

You can see it over Ireland the frame before it looks rather potent , be good to see if it can hold its intensity .

Oh dear 14 is a little bit less than 200, so you're out of it then..

I think even 14 might be an over-estimate. Not to worry, I am very used to being disappointed when it comes to the white stuff.

I for one hope LBAR is correct :bomb:

If the system doesn't move north as quickly as anticipated then the LBAR could well be correct, as it will get absorbed by the jet and scoot off east. Sorry to bore you all, but this interests me.

Well I'm hoping that it would aid the undercut scenario, but whether that would be the case or not I'm not 100% sure. For me, if it goes north I would of thought that it would only end up going over our blocking heights and sinking them, putting us back into westerly regime. But I could be completely wrong.
