Thunder! :D

Right, just come back from lamp-post watch.

First there was one, then another and then another. Then it stopped.

Then it started again, another one, then more and then more.

Yep, it was raining, but no lightning off to the south and no thunder:doh:

I can go one better than that! I was under a red warning for snow- 2010 i think? @Dorsetbred will remember. I woke up the next morning, red warning had gone and no snow. lol

Here you go, satellite image of that no show, look at the area it missed, Poole, Wareham and Weymouth.

Chucking it down with rain now. 12 mm/hr. And has warmed up considerably. Wind chill gone :-( This is rubbish.

An all nighter could be on the cards after all :yahoo:

Man I love those white blob graphics :cold:

My expectations have lowered over the past few years. After 2010 anything under 5cm of snow was 'meh' :pardon: .. but nowadays I'll take a 1cm dumping any day of the week. Could be the first lampost watch in a LONG  time for Thurs night :snowman-emoji:

Sleet shower again here now but temperature is falling gradually so maybe just maybe if we can get some heavy showers after mid night we could get a little snow falling.. :)

Funny how desperate we have all become after the last 2 winters..

yes Kate, T850's for my neck of the woods are around -3C, with dewpoints of 3C, a spot of evaporative cooling could bring the freezing level down nicely here, might see a wet flake or two in a bit?

Is the wunderground app any good?

Id say so, yes! I use it to get a good idea of temperatures around me and also the weather type radar is useful!
