Thanks, yep that definitely explains it.   Oh well you can't win them all... and like I said, it won't take too much of a walk/drive tomorrow to get some decent pics.

Moderate then light snow in Whitefield since 3pm, but turned moderate/heavy in the last hour to give us a decent snowfall where you can't see the grass.

I can't believe it's not letting up at all, intensifying if anything, got a really good covering now, I'm loving it. As is my cat, he's 3 and has never seen proper snow like this, he keeps running in and out the cat flap, meowing loudly and frolicking like a nutter in the snow!
