Don't think anyone in the SE will see any snow during daylight hours today, but a combination of nocturnal cooling, colder and drier air undercutting from the NW and a wave developing along the frontal zone perhaps pepping up the rain enough may allow temps to fall enough to bring some wet snow in some spots.

still a dry flow off the near continent ahead of the rain across the far SE and eastern EA with dew points 0C or just below, but the DPs seem to rise above 0C when the rain arrives. Really is the back edge where colder and drier air undercuts is where the snow risk develops tonight.

It was always going to rain to start but once the cold air pushes in it is then it could turn for an hour or 2.

March 1993 this aint ,rain started 5pm at 8 degrees and hour later all snow and temp of 0 morning time 5 inches lay ...and that was a front coming in from west
