Awake most of the night listening to crashing from outside. The Metoffice has us under an amber warning with the gusts still expected till 12ish, can we still expect that?

It's windy, although not as windy as coastal areas. Still strong enough to be making the lights flicker.

About to enter what I think will be the strongest of the winds as the hook or wrap around comes in

Massive gust at approx 610am. 2 large roof tiles gone. Must have been 80mph+

That was a pretty windy night and it's quite nasty out still with the trees thrashing about. Some very heavy rain overnight, too. No damage that I can see though.

Very windy here at the moment, though there is some brightness trying to get through the cloud at the moment and it is certainly doing a good job of drying things out at the moment.

Probably about 70? There must be a weather station there? . There seemed to be s massive gust around 430am.. Well around the Chichester area anyhow. I can imagine Brighton will be roaring. Hope no idiots decide to venture to the seafront.

One very big gust just now I'd say roughly 65mph fairly impressive for here.

Strongest gust at Odiham 68 mph @ 07:00.  Wind will start to abate soon, maybe another hour.  Temperature falling 7.2 deg 04:00, 5 deg 07:00,  Power back on, kettle boiling.
