That's hopeful for you :)

Temperatures behind the front are about the same as those actually within the front itself, so no big pull of colder air after it passes. Of course evaporative cooling might force things down tonight in places making it a little difficult in the morning.

My weather station icon has changed to sleet too.

Temp still dropping fast here, now down to 4.9c
Rain has stopped though, but its bitter out the NNE wind chill knocks you back.

Out of the MOD thread we have this classic comment..

For the time being, it's simply rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.....

I've got a pair of blue spruce in my garden, they're a lovely soft silver colour bedecked in white Christmas lights, they'd look super pretty with a dusting of snow....I've been waiting four years to see that sight, is there any hope before I pack the lights away for another year?

And the answer is NO. If you get to the nearest Homebase, they are selling cans of spray snow cheaply, best you could hope for really..

I seem to remember reading somewhere that it's the wet bulb temperature you need to watch for in these scenarios, so mine are:  DP 1.6°C (Wet Bulb :2.5°C ).

Comments anyone?
