It's in the bag really. Spring is just waiting for the totally confused winter to throw in the dice, and then it'll take over. The small hiatus in all of this is your holiday, so let's get that out the way, on then we can get on with our lives...

Oh right, sorry, I thought you meant when the potential for wintriness increases for our area.  Some high res modelling comes into play (just) tomorrow, but most around Tuesday/Wednesday.

What are you using there??

I am going to use our own trusted highly accurate met office app thanks. :santa-emoji:

Met office one takes elevation into account to be fair.

Are Truro playing their home games at Plymouth this season?

I have bad memories of visiting their original Treyew Road ground a week after they had won the FA Vase in their Western League days. We thought they might ease off having won the league/Vase double but we got annihilated 8-0!

No not this season, there was talk of groundsharing with Torquay while there new stadium gets built, but change of plans late summer mean't contiuing at Treyew Road for the forseeable. A 500 mile trip yesterday, we lost 3-2! Narrowly defeated in the end, but can't let yourself go 3-0 down away from home, before staging a comeback.

Weather wasn't too bad, some sunshine, then low cloud sweeped back in and drizzle for second half, far from cold though!

Just deciding weather I should be getting excited about a 48 hour cold spell :blink2:

which will probably end up a 24 blink and you miss it affair end with a MLB, right where we don't want it.

I'm interested but not excited yet. We've been burned before. Plus I hate anything marginal. Cold rain doesn't appeal..

Maybe need a few of these ready in case the dreaded M4 corridor causes issues. :diablo:

West / NW flow seldom delivers down here but with unstable air troughs can gather strength quickly and really deliver the goods, as with most of these however the timing is usually nowcasting......fingers crossed this time

I'd go as far to say, that it won't get as cold here, as it did at the beginning of December - minimum temps, that is.

The met office FAX Charts don't look all that bad at +96h 528 line well south of us and troughs in the North Westerly flow? I don't know if I am reading these correctly as still learning the in's and out's lol.
