Conveniently we've got a leaky overflow so a part of the driveway is an ice rink

Yeah, I just popped to Downton Brewery for a takeout and had to scrape the car windscreen before I went. Decent.

First day of this winter which has actually been cold and felt wintry. 2.7c now and already starting to drop from a maxima of 3.5c

First day in ages with blue skies all day. Also the first time it hasn’t reached 5°C this winter with a high of 4.2°C. Currently 3.3°C

What a beautiful day in this part of Dorset! Blue skies all day, frost stayed in the shade, kids smashing up ice puddles! Does anyone want to let the HFC thread that it’s cold right now?!!

It clouded over a bit now just as the sun goes down, but the temperature has gotten down to 1.3°C after a high of 2.6°C earlier

Yeah. it's lovely. It would be nice to have the same tomorrow, but I think we've been lucky today looking at the Satellite.

If you tell 'em it's cold, they'll tell you it's faux cold, which doesn't count, apparently. As long as the Sun shines, I couldn't care less.

Anyway, it's dec down day in our house. The most wonderful time of the year.

It managed to get to 4.8°C this afternoon. 6.4 hours of sunshine recorded. Currently 0.3°C.

Currently -0.9c decent frost last night still around esp shade. Expecting our region to have a hard freeze tonight - very cold nights for us next week under influence of a northerly

I was there earlier. Cheeky lunch in Comptoir Libanaise.  Temps have struggled all day.

Haha! I was at the Westgate Mall in Itsu having a cheeky rice box!  

Isn't that weird that we could've walked passed each-other and not even known...
