Regardless of later frames gfs12z is good for cold within 4/5 days as those lower 850's come south in the leee northerly from our low.

We then look like keeping colder at the surface as the flow slackens.Good trends as we await the main course.

Yes, but a week from now to scandi, cold

ARPEGE 12Z is out in "France" view - on the past few runs it's been playing with the idea of more substantial snow in the SE on Monday night, and the idea has reappeared on this runScreenshot_20201227-155527.thumb.png.40fa30de9bb33a12ee1ba9bcc901d1e8.png

It's not making much of tomorrow morning's snow opportunities away from high ground in the west.

Lol this is exactly what happens in these scenarios- met office give out a warning on a very uncertain possible snowfall - nothing. Within 24 hours there is an unexpected event. Met office- nothing ( until it has practically finished)

Wow what a turnaround by the GFS in 12 hours now showing nirvana charts in just a week or so!

Looking like a fantastic start to 2021 with proper wintry weather!
