I know a say it every year but why does Hartburn / Stockton areas always have a channel of dross, always in the clear path when showers pass all other areas, 

Has to be some scientific reason.

To be fair, it appears most areas ( Apart from Redka and Stockton lol ) have done fairly well. On my way to Wakefield this morning and a dusting everywhere to Wetherby. A19 had 2 serious accidents near Northallerton due to road conditions

Woke up earlier to another slight dusting this morning, had a couple of moderate sleet/snow showers this morning, looks like some decent blobs on the radar in the North sea

Decided Redcar was a bust so drove up to Guisborough for my snow fix

IR looking great for this evening for heavy prolonged showers. Big convection event happening over Skagerrak Strait in Norway 

Anywhere from Aberdeen to Hull wil be in the firing Line

We haven't done bad up here seabreeze, keeps melting a bit then a top up, then melt etc.

Yeah was up Hutton village roads were a bit dicey but the little man loved it

All just falling as sleet here, must be too close to the coast

Big snow flakes here but seems very wet so not putting a layer down yet. 
needed this shower after dark it’s just wayy to wet.

Most places seems to have done very well. nothing has laid here yet again... how frustrating lol. 

Radar seems to be very quiet now for a good few hours.

That last shower was very wet and now alot of the snow on paths and road has melted or turned very slushy. Will be lethal tomorrow if it freezes and anymore snow lays ontop

nice moderate snow falling here, quite large fluffy flakes, stopped now, not much at all showing on radar over sea ompared to earlier this afternoon

Showers getting going again now not that they will amount to anything here but could be a decent night for the more favourable areas

Showers seem to be getting going from 8pm onwards. Radar looks decent for the favoured spots.

Just below freezing here now and all the snow starting to freeze up.

Definitely pays dividends where I live with it being at the top of the hill.

I was at the Metro Centre and Newcastle earlier and there was virtually nothing.

Hopefully catch a shower or two overnight.
