Was just looking at the rain and nostalgically thinking back to that Sunday in Feb 12 years ago when it clouded over in the afternoon and we got buried with that direct hit from the east. Better snow depths for us that day than during the BFTE. Although still didn't match the snow of Jan '87 or Feb '91.

Anyhoo, onto the 12z with optimism...

Went out to Camber for a walk this afternoon, cold rain, huffing and puffing over the sand dunes.... similar feeling terriane to heavy snow.... .

Anyhow spring is already here in Winchelsea a few daffodils poking through...

GFS still showing a period of snow for Kent on Tuesday morning - I'm not convinced, still think all but the highest parts of the downs will be rain or sleet.

Another shower going to hit imminently in Dover, will probably be just rain, but we'll see

Super sunny day here in East Dene, bit cloudier this afternoon. It was a total washout yesterday, 20 years ago that would have been Snow. We have a North East wind here and no sign of snow, just more drizzly rain, how our climate has warmed up. Never mind, nice roaring log fire, Large G and T. And Will Hay in Oh Mr Porter on the tv.  Good Health to you all.

Some lower dew points beginning to appear out to our east ..across the channel/North sea.

Went through westfield on tues, daffodils are flowering there, Winchelsea always has the daffs out early, it must be a sun/heat trap by that wall

Weather Underground’s WunderMap provides interactive weather and radar Maps for weather conditions for locations worldwide.

You can select dew point as the layer in here, this is what I use

When can we start having faith in GFS? The 12z run keeps the Thames streamer dream alive, not sure if the hashed lines necessarily mean snow or sleet and snow though?

That's out of date lol, latest for Langdon bay 0 Although that could still be positive, as in 0.1-0.4

Well make the most of any wintry weather next week seems to be the general consensus on the MAD thread. The big 3 seem to be trending the wrong way if they are to be believed.

I do not look at that thread anymore. Too confusing and contradicting. Stick here!

Harmonie model for instance differentiates with orange hashed lines showing sleet so I wasn't sure with this as there's no way of distinguishing whether its sleet or rain in that case on GFS

Next week is too far ahead anyway, while we have the synoptics we have. I'm not looking further than three days my self.
