Well that escalated biggest flakes ever seen.

There's a light shower outside now and it's sleety. Still a good 3 inches lying after the last shower.

Literally just turned to snow as I finished typing that

Finally proper snow here now. A nice dusting to all surfaces. Could be a decent covering by morning if we can eek a few hours out of this.

It's just started snow here. Doesn't look like it will last long but nice to see.

Not bad, looks like it's dying down now but a good 45 mins of moderate to heavy shower.

Not much fell overnight. So about an inch of snow in total.

Thought you guys in the north west were going to see a fair bit overnight as the radar showed m still showing the showers packing in.

I think it's because the showers turned to rain overnight here. I thought being further inland they would stay as snow but the warm sector put pay to that idea. A sleety snow shower at the minute too
