Watched the BBC weather this morning, no chat of the warning for here but covered everywhere else? The graphics seemed to indicate more for the east than over here in the west?

They rarely mention Northern Ireland at all, other than a throw away sentence occasionally.

Yes, there will be more snow in the East than West as we're closer to where the low pivots.

MetO have updated the warning curtailing the northern extent but still keeping NI within a yellow warning, I would have thought reading the text we would have been upgraded to amber due to the timings of snow fall with home time traffic

They don't bother about Norn Iron too much, probably down to lower population.

I guess we will see later on if they should have issued or not.

That band is taking an awful long time to move North.

For my location, MetO has been showing heavy snow from 12 for the past couple of days

Temp 3 degrees, dew point 2.5. Rain all morning with the occasional hint of sleet but that’s it. Not even the joy of watching flakes fall!!! Dublin snow shield in full effect here AGAIN!

Temp here is 2degrees, dew point 1.5. Light rain/small snowy mix, any snow from last night melting. The precipitation is too light to lower the freezing level. Not sure where the Met office are getting their amber warning from yet.

This big red mass looks to be heading your way, showing green for sleet at the minute but fingers crossed

A very poor showing here- a bit of snow on the grass and walls..

We are supposed to be under an orange warning for later. I can't see it being warranted for this area . It would seem the heaviest precipitation was further south in the end. Also I see that what was originally supposed to be an all snow event for the Northern third of the country has turned to sleet in many areas. No doubt it will transition back to snow once the  system moves away.
