Wind really picking up here in Bromley, some rain on the cars I can see so it must have been rain in that first band

Wet ‘snow’ in Horley Gatwick. I have 10p flakes. But I can also hear the raindrops...

Moderate fat flakes of snow here in Caterham as the main band hits, dusting so far, temp 1.1C and DP -2.1C.

Heavy fine stuff really blowing around here, can’t tell if it’s sleet or snow, definitely flakes in it though

BBC had sleet, MO had rain. From pretty early on too.

Does seem like mainly snow in Bromley, not big enough flakes to settle though. Was worth getting up for the cricket anyway...

No denying it’s snow now in Bromley, don’t worry just south of the river. It’s really blowing around but it’s trying hard to settle on wind-facing surfaces

It's actually coming down quite well here in Southend, dragging the temp down by almost 1c in 15 mins, good signs!

I was thinking the same with the breeze.. Must be dry snow.
