Very heavy showers here this afternoon and looks as though this evening will be very wet !

Well we’ve survived the 3 unsettled days almost unrained on.

A few showers in Poole on Saturday, a wet morning in our cottage then fine afternoon in Swanage yesterday, a very wet night which didn’t matter then a lovely day today!

Rest of the week looks pretty good!

A rather nice end to the day here, though breezy.

My judgment from 2 days here is on WSW flows the coastal areas miss the worst of the showers.

Hi Andy

spot on, we drove through two streamers earlier today on way down to swanage

it’s been dry here since we arrived

your judgement was right on the money looking at the radar. Been what look like thunderstorms back there today.

A coastal fringe benefit!

A lot of cloud around this morning. Hopefully it’ll burn off sharpish.

Yes it was foggy here in Christchurch just after 7am.

Soon cleared though and its glorious now. In fact it's probably the warmest it's been since we arrived Saturday morning. Thank god the wind has eased as well as it was getting annoying

Very heavy rain started at 2am here and turned to light rain around 7am, but heavy occasional showers are back now.
45mm in total.

Been a rainy period since Thursday;
Thu 5mm, Fri 1mm, Sat 39mm, Sun 3mm

Be glad to see the back of it and liking the sunny forecasts.

71.2mm of rain fell yesterday morning between midnight and 9am here, just up the road from you. Really was torrential at times!

After a slow burning morning, the afternoon was glorious. Maxed out at 22.8C.

Shame tomorrow is going to turn so quickly with a bbq planned in the evening.

A stunning couple of midweek days for National Trust and railway trips! Today was definitely the warmest day of the week. Swanage was beautiful.

Slightly irked by tomorrow’s slow moving cold front. Possibly more rain on the cards than Saturday-Monday if it waves a bit!?
