Just reached us in Robertsbridge. Temp +0.1C DP -0.9C. Rain with a few ice pellets in it. I suspect the leading edge has slightly warmer air aloft and it will turn to snow when the heavier stuff arrives shortly. It's moving NE at a snails pace.

Awww My great nanny Glyde was from Robertsbridge fond memories there lovely big rural house hope you get the white stuff heavy!

very light sleet here. the main precipitation band seems to m moving further east so not sure we are going to get much unless it starts pivoting.

Ha me too... I'm fine... But aggravated at the possibility that we miss out narrowly on the real deal!

Still snowing and settling everywhere, which is good, but if this main band is the most we get, we need it to stay all snow...

Latest 12Z Arome broadly backs up the Met Office warning. Looks a bit frustrating for Londoners if this comes off, with the largest accumulations circling the capital

Could contain: Plot, Chart, Nature, Outdoors, Map, Sea, Water, Atlas, Diagram

Current radar vs. Arome

Could contain: Plot, Chart, Map, Atlas, Diagram, Rainforest, Vegetation, Tree, Plant, Outdoors

V. similar but it'll still be down to radar watching. Hoping for a few cm in NE London from this.

Absolutely nothing on radar yet managed to get a dusting seemingly out of nowhere. Probably more likely to sublimate away than melt given the small amounts and the cold levels we have currently.

Still its added to the wintry look yet further.

Haven't had time to follow to closely but seems to me like it's already pivoting? Would think most of London is in with reasonable shout here...

Does look like it to me too.

Snowing hard here and settling readily on the grass, cars and pavements.

Heavy mixed rain and sleet here in Bexhill. One of those frustrating scenarios in which you'd be looking at a very respectable pasting by now, had it all been pure snow from the outset!

My mate has confirmed it's snowing at sea level, right on the coast, yet I'm 10 miles inland, and 200ft asl, yet it's rain, you couldn't make it up. Ha ha

You still confident

Looks like the band is going east of us lol

All on course will exact east then start to pivot around Suffolk/ Norfolk lows.. that’s when the inland consequence starts to take place.. as I type there are a few flakes falling here .

Light snow flakes here in Surbiton. Hubby is taking son out for a walk in it as I'm under the weather. If we get heavy snow later, I'll be out in it sick or not, can't miss the opportunity!

BTW, having trouble posting today, seems to either stop me posting or introduce a load of extra lines that are blank.
