Beautiful frosty morning/sunny day, sunset as per above and now another weak front bringing unmeasurable rain. The difference this time is it’s pimply rain rather than drizzle.

Great sunny spells all day yesterday, temp was 9°C mid afternoon and a high of 9.2°C at 10:30pm
Was 8.8°C at midnight, low of 5.9°C at 7:30am
Now, nice blue start, 6.8c, NW 6-8mph wind, 1023.7 hPa

No rain since 19th Jan 2022.

Morning All, back to the Sc layer this morning after a mild night, with the low of 5.5°C at: 06:44, currently 6.4°C, RH78 % with a light breeze in from the NNW, which has really improved the air quality this morning.

A chilly feeling 7 degrees with sunny spells. UV index of 1... might sunbathe this afternoon...

A blowy day with lots of cloud, some good sunny spells and a few brief pimply showers.

The best news of all is a mostly clear sky now means it’s still reasonably light after 17:15!

A slight red tinge to the sky at 6am this morning.
Turned to light grey and overcast now.

Temp has been on the rise since yesterday evening, now 9.4°C, 1023.4 hPa, WSW wind 6mph

Morning All, a tad breezy this morning compared to recent days, and remaining mild, after an overnight low of 6.8°C at: 00:00, currently 9.3°C , RH86% and a 10mph breeze in from the NNW, oh yes, it's back to overcast layer of St & Sc mix again..

Plenty of sunshine to start the new month here up until about 15 minutes ago when skies started to cloud over again. Mild too at 11 degrees.

Evening all, Facebook has been taunting me for the last few days with memories of snowy days. On this day last year, the year before, the year before and the year before that were all snowy days. 2019 was the stand out year for Feb 1st around here, oh what a happy day that was

Morning All, a bright start after an overnight low of 6.3°C at: 07:59, RH92%, air movement from the NW..

You can tell it's February, the sunshades are back on the beach as the UV climbs!

Fortunate enough to be 'stuck' in one of the brighter slots today. After a cloudyish start, it's been largely sunny since midmorning.

A mild start our way but it has brightened up into a rather pleasant day.

 

I have written off winter for this year I did see falling snow back in November whilst on the Ridgeway but that's been my lot so did have that little small mercy.

Eeek! It cleared off in the end. Very Spring like! Just under14c at 13.9c. Perfect! I'm ready for Spring now. Bye "Winter"!

Mostly sunny today in Portishead and Clevedon, very spring-like. Temperature appeared to oscillate between 12-13 degrees but definitely felt warmer in the sun, with the car thermometer at one point was showing 16 degrees whilst driving along.

Well it's been cloudy this afternoon after a blast of sunshine around the middle of the day, but, the temperature made it to the heady heights of 14.0°C at: 12:49..

Interesting.. managed 7 hours of sunshine here.  Not completely unbroken, as lots of Cirrus appeared, but a good sunny day nonetheless. Temp managed 13.7°C.

Me eyes musta been closed, looking at me UV, does show the sun twas trying to do it's stuff, maybe I need to wash the windows too

Morning All, a passing shower this morning, kicking off the monthly rainfall count a mere 0.2mm but something at least. Meanwhile overnight low was 7.0°C at: 04:40, currently 7.2°C, RH95% and a slight breeze in from the SW, of 3mph.

The beach brollies are back down again, looking at the channel it looks more feisty than it really is..
