Minus 4.4c this morning was the lowest since 11th February last year, so practically a year. Maximum today of 3.6, the lowest maximum in practically a year too (13th Feb last year) but so frustrating that it was cloudy from mid morning.

Just had to pay over 70p/l for quick delivery of central heating oil. Inflation of nearly 100%. You can stick yer cold weather imho.

Went down to -2.0°C last night which was the coldest night of the winter so far. Started sunny today but clouded over by lunchtime. Reached 5.7°C, currently 4.3°C

Lack of wind certainly helped. Just a shame the sun disappeared... although that probably would've scuppered a maximum below 5C!

The Sc rolled in yesterday evening and is still here, so no frost and little wind

A high of only 5.6c yesterday mid afternoon. Not that it really felt that cold outside, with plenty of bright sunshine through the day till late afternoon. 
Temp stayed much around that, midnight it was 5c

A low of 4.4c at 7am.
Now 4.7c, light grey sky, 1038.2 hPa, very light NNW wind.

A dull and overcast start to the day, following a mild night with low of 3.1°C at: 07:04, currently 4.5°C and RH84% with the breeze waking up from the NNW..
