Morning All, well true to normal, the weekend passes...overcast..and back to work day goes glorious sunshine again!

Meanwhile recovery from an overnight ground frost after the overnight low of 0.9°C at: 08:40, which has managed to make it up 1.3°C and RH93%, with no breeze..

Just managed an air frost with a low of -0.4°C. Surfaces were very frosty, though. Grass temp got down to -3.3°C.

Currently blue skies and 3.6°C.

A high of 10.7c mid afternoon.
Was 7c at midnight.
Low of 2.5c at 8am

Now 5.1c, clear blue skies, dry, plenty of bright sunshine.
Light NNW wind, 1039.2 hPa

A return of blue skies today after a cloudier couple of days over the weekend. Reached 9.9°C, currently 0.4°C

Currently -1.4°C.

A few upgrades have taken place on my weather station

I've also swapped over to the WeatherLink live as my permanent way of collecting and logging data. No more cables!

Whereas here it’s cloudy but -2.1c with a thick frost. I guess it was clear until quite recently.

A fine start this morning....BUT we are now being enveloped in mist. after an overnight ground frost with a low of -1.8°C at: 06:14 which has slowly made its way up to 0.2°C and RH93% with a 3.5mph light breeze from the east/with freezing fog reported locally.

-3.5c. Nice thick frost here and fog. Can barely see across the road. Ok here's a beginner type question lol! What is the difference between fog and mist?

A stunning sunrise that didn't last very long and like others have mentioned we had a good frost to begin with which has gone very quickly from our lawn.

The difference  is how far visibility is. Less than 1000 meters fog .more than 1000 meters  is mist.

Now 6.7c, 1037.8 hPa, light ENE wind

The mist has burnt back, allowing some watery sunshine to filter through

Currently 7.3°C

-6 at 6am. Still below freezing at 9am which made our outside circuit class interesting!
