It's BACK..

Clear blue sky AND the sun....BUT

From above, unfortunately it is only a gap, not across the region

Meanwhile the stats go, overnight low of 1.4°C at: 00:00, currently 1.9°C, and the rest all flat as shown below, APART from the air quality which is still not great...

Nice to get bits and pieces of sun throughout the day today in Portishead. Sun is back out again now. Makes all the difference with the evenings getting lighter.

Had sun for 10 mins around 230 then cloud back and now its getting dark it's blue sky

Saw the sun very briefly as it rose this morning, cloudy until later morning and then sunny until it set.  Makes one feel so much better to see the sun.

Half hour of sunshine this morning, and half hour of sunshine this afternoon, in between and after that, back to overcast. Temp reached 8.4°C.

A colourful and mild start to the morning, with the sun just lighting up the underside of the upper cloud...

Stats wise, an overnight low of 5.3°C at: 01:35, has risen to 7.4°C, RH 89% with the breeze now in from the SW..

From above looking cloudy with some light rain over the western extremes this morning as a weakening front crosses the area

At least the air quality has improved markedly, now the breeze has arrived..

A nice way to detect moisture without waiting for a bucket tip to occur in the rain gauge .. 

Sure enough, fine drizzle outside.

Temp did reach 12°C.

Cleared up into a sunny afternoon and it now feels more like March (minus the sun strength).
