Very surprised to see hail and sleet shower over here at Shepton today.

Its been a very pleasant day here in Gloucester, some lengthy sunny spells and warm enough I was able to go for my lunchtime wander without a coat.

How confusing...

Is it "Old Thread" in a new Group?

Hi lettice

Paul made an announcement yesterday: https://www.netweather.tv/forum/forum/142-regional-weather/

This thread was moved from the regional area in to our group here.

The process of moving all regional threads has been in progress for quite some time. We can create threads within our own group, and we have a gallery too.

Strange.
Makes no sense and just caused confusion.
Oh well seems to be back to normal now.

Yes, not that I understood it this morning. I was just lost trying to post in the SW and S England thread.
Not sure we want multiple regional posts, this one is only ever that busy when there is a snow event. Which is a fun time and works well at times like that.
We can post pics in here now, why does it need a gallery, whatever that is intended for.

Well the day concludes (kind of) after a maximum temperature of 7.8°C at: 11:39, and a nagging breeze from the North, so gardening today was not as much fun as yesterday, given the much lower amount of sunshine today and the stronger northerly breeze. Even some spells of occasional rain, just for fun..

A high of only 7.8°C yesterday.
Had some very dark skies yesterday afternoon, house lights had to come on, but stayed dry.

6°C at midnight, low of 4°C at 5am.
Now 4.5°C, 1027.4 hPa, NE 8-12mph winds.
Nice to see some blue sky creeping through after recent overcast skies.

Gave my weather station a clean yesterday afternoon, removing a spider web that I noticed hanging on the pole. Then, noticed the spider crawled from underneath one of the weather arms. Odd place to hide, must have got quite dizzy.

Afternoon All, after a chilly night with a low of

2.0°C at: 06:18, today we have managed to reach 8.0°C at: 10:51 in one of the sunnier spells, but now the sun has backed off as the haze and clouds cover the sky..

Narrowly missed an air frost last night as cloud rolled in.

Grey and chilly today.

A beautifully clear if rather chilly afternoon following cloud clearance from the morning.
