I truly wouldn’t mind this last 2 days conditions extending beyond midday tomorrow!

Dry, plenty of sunshine, cheerful all round, drying the ground.

The last couple of days here have been annoying. No sunshine yesterday, some today, but that nagging easterly wind gusting to 30mph has made it feel like 4°C.

It seems to happen quite often at this time of year, rather unpleasant.

A rather plumey look to the sky this morning and the odd pimply shower moving quickly S-N.

Quite a windchill in the brisk SE’ly which I daresay would be the opposite feel in June-September.

Lovely and sunny still but with a quite strong and nagging wind which is making it feel chilly.

Hailstones here..

Looks like a half decent radar echo over your area, seemingly from not very much 15 minutes ago. Classic early doors convection and instability. Me likes.

The sky certainly has that plume-look to it. I could even smell the petrichor, it was a nice reminder of a hot day before a storm rolls in.

@*Stormforce~beka* I'm trying to keep the need for the new area going, as normally we get at least ONE big blast on here when the woodwork creaks as people come out to say "It's snowing, yeah", but of course the new climate has rather squashed those opportunities. And of course, dull and cloudy with 10mph winds, and non-event type weather don't really inspire most people to enjoy. BUT, I shall remain, given I am retiring soon, I'll have less chance to spend on the thread (more items on the wife's TODO list than I have years left...but).

No retiring from this thread! I'll miss my daily sea picture! And your crazy sense of humour lol! Your our daddy! I haven't posted as like you say - nothing to say same old, same old! I'm also mostly living on the war thread. Although I guess I could come here to report how many poos i've dealt with in a day? Or how many loads of laundry i've done? Or how i've tidied kids bed rooms complete with pictures ... I live an exciting life me ...

Morning All, a wet start to the day, after an overnight low of 8.5°C at: 07:59 which is where it's about the same at the moment, with RH95% and 3.8mm of rain (so far). Time to venture out.

A picture is worth a thousand words, then, here's the story...
