Glorious day number two, just without the added cumulus of yesterday.

A tad warmer too having reached 16 degrees recently. Very dry air too... 32% humidity.

Cracking sunny day yesterday.
14.7°C max mid afternoon.
The easterly wind sometimes felt a bit nippy.
Low of 8°C at 6am.

Now, another bright sunny start, 10.9°C, 1035.9 hPa, Easterly wind 10-12mph

It reached 16.2°C here yesterday at 1pm and today, to my surprise because of the wind, 17.6 half an hour ago, probably today's max.  That few miles further inland where I am can make a noticeable difference in an easterly, and today the wind has backed a tad north of east. Still need to find a bit of shelter from the wind to enjoy the sunshine though!

I did worry briefly about my screen overheating in the sun but Southampton Airport has reported the same values on the hour as here, and their screen is up at 2 metres, higher then mine, and very exposed.

Have the 850s dropped this afternoon or a subtle wind change? The temperature has gradually fallen since about 14.00 despite continuing clear sky and strong sunshine.

Although it was clear all day, it wasn't t-shirt weather at all. That nagging wind was just too cold.

11.6°C but feels like 9°C.

Can't stand these easterly winds at this time of year.

That's the problem living near the coast in spring and early summer.

Twas the same here, but still a good day like yesterday, in the garden, T and shorts, digging the garden and feeding the Robins again today, some cloud earlier that has now disappeared.

I'm not fussed by cold, but it hasn't been t-shirt weather for me during the last few days. Jumper still firmly on!

Same here. Been a great weekend. New greenhouse base is down, at last.

Still nice now, out of the breeze.

It's probably because I wear shorts & T all year, Spring is time to ditch the overcoat (jumper)..So retirement does mean no more "long trousers"(well, until I feel the cold that is)..

We just managed 12°C yesterday mid afternoon.
Nice sunshine though and lovely to be out in the garden.

A low of 4.8°C at 1am.
Still the ENE wind making it feel a bit nippy at times.
Now 7°C, 1026.7 hPa, ENE 4-6mph.

Morning All, the overnight mist is still lifting after an overnight low of 0.8°C at: 02:20, it's warmed up to 6.7°C, RH89% and a 3mph light air movement from the ENE..

From above

And beneath the cloud the sea mist still lingers

Made the most of the lovely weather we had over the weekend, and got out and about with the camera

Tried to capture the the essence of the spring Equinox.

This is my favourite time of year, and I'm really hoping we don't get plunged into a cold spell

Much better today & feeling much warmer due to light winds. Temp 14.7°C.

Extremely poor air quality too. 24 hour air quality index  for PM 2.5 is 5.9 and 5.1 for PM 10. That's the highest values I've recorded since owning an air quality sensor.

Yes, I was trying to check my AQI against yours this morning but I couldn't get to your site, but I thought it was poor too.
