The highest temperature for over 9 months at 23.0c max, quite odd really that it’s taken until 14th June.

Looking like a hot end to the week. Not a fan of the heat, being a pale-skinned Celt (white is me with a tan, blue is my winter colour).

But at least we may get a plume out of that heat for some 'sferics, fingers crossed.

Not liking the cloud forecast for the next two days... hopefully cloud won't spoil play again otherwise this might end up being a one day wonder (the heatwave that is... the skies have been glorious the last few days already).

Looking like another hot day, but I notice that radar is showing rain approaching Cornwall and Pembrokeshire from the SW. I wonder if any of that will survive the high pressure.

Nothing in any of my usual forecasts that indicated rain for the SW.

Morning All, noticing some high cloud this morning, after the overnight low of 8.0°C at: 05:17, the temperature is ramping nicely, currently 22.9°C, RH55% and light air movement of 3mph from the NE.

Some interesting views this morning, as noted some rain out in the Bristol Channel/ southern Irish Sea, picked out nicely on radar seemingly on an easterly movement..

Also of note from satellite view over Biscay is the northerly flow of the Saharan sand on route to the UK..
