Peaked at 23.3, now slowly falling. Tomorrow now looks cloudy so that just leaves Friday.

Morning All, a rinse and repeat start to the day, but a double digit overnight low, has kicked started the warmth this morning. From a low of 10.5°C at: 04:31, we are already up to 21.9°C at: 09:59, RH58% and a 4mph light air movement in from the SSW, with a high cloud presence, which will possibly subdue temperatures again today.

Seems to be a fair amount of high cloud throttling the temperature rise today

Still 3 more hours to reach the peak, but mid 20's seems common across the UK at the moment

We have the same!! Peed off.com! I even filled up the paddling pool but might be too cool by then to use it. We'll see ... I put cold water in hoping it would warm up in time for home time! No chance now

The top 4 so far today at 28°C are in London

Meanwhile the cloud over Cornwall earlier is progressing further north and east

Mostly sunny all day here, and warm. I think we get a bit of 'channel sink' effect here in Portishead. A bit of high cloud just starting to move in now as I type.

Seem to be some showers just off Cornwall, I expect the chances of them making landfall are slim. (Do I sound like someone praying for rain for his scorched lawn?)

Reached 25.3°C but then the breeze picked up and it quickly dropped, then a while later it clouded over and dropped even more.  Currently 19.8°C

Victor Meldrew here.....blistering heat followed by cloud induced humidity not my cup of tea sure many people working outdoors share the view.

Yesterday's max....28.7°C, currently 24.4°C having risen from a low of 14.9°C.

Yesterday high was 26.2c

It is 20c here already after a low at 5am of 16c.
