With another lovely sunny start to the day, all we need now is for the forecasted rain to stay away as long as possible.

preferably about October😂

Just watched the football highlights. Sunny cloudless Manchester yesterday and dull overcast Chelsea ! Lets hope the NW  continues in that way for you lot. I must say, everything getting exciting in the relegation zone battle. Glad I have Sky Sport as over TV  here is rubbish. Hope Leeds go down !

A bright start here, although sunshine is hazy with some clouds around. Hopefully the incoming rain will hold off for the bulk of the afternoon.

Now that the mighty clarets have sealed the title and promotion back to the Prem, it’s great to watch the relegation battle and who will join us through the playoffs as a neutral.

Look at the radar and its blue here, look outside not a spot of rain to be seen. This is a very weak front breaking up as it moves east, for most a dab of drizzle at best. Still it's a disappointingly grey day so far compared to the gloriousness of yesterday.

Its an odd feature its brightening up at the same time!

Met Office still saying rain from 4pm-7pm. Maybe the front will spring back to live in the next few hours maybe? Just wait and see.

Become overcast now here, can see the dregs of blue sky out east.  Temp nudged 18.5°.  Hoping the rain holds off for a little while, I've promised to tackle the weeds at mums later.

I spent yesterday re-visiting old haunts from the 1990s at Cleveleys and Lancaster, and what a wonderful day it was from every perspective including the weather.

A warm sunny start to today here but clouding over now and I can hear the sounds of multiple lawn mowers at work before the forecast showery rain moves in. It was good whilst it lasted!

Well still barely anything falling from the sky, indeed radar showing nothing incoming.. what a strange frontal feature. Sometimes happens when we have hot air, squeezes out the moisture, but its only 16 degrees.

Yep, been watching that. An amazing come back. Good if they could hold onto the manager for the coming season ? Hope the Foxes 🦊 and The Forest stay up. Some big games coming up thick and fast. Great if City can do one on cocky Real Madrid for a change !

Despite the cloud it's been 1'c warmer in Buxton today than yesterday under the blue skies at 18.9'c, maybe a chance of ground-frost early on Tuesday and again Saturday morning. At least for the 80th anniversary of the Dambusters Raid the weather looks set to be fine for the Lancaster Flypasts around Lincolnshire and what-ever the RAF sends up unofficially over Ladybower.

A few spots of rain over the last couple of hours but it’s barely wet the ground and has certainly been a lot drier that the forecast this morning was saying.

I’ve made the most of the decent weather this weekend with plenty done in the garden and thankfully it looks a lot better for it.

A bit of rain earlier but only enough to dampen the ground a little bit. Outlook could be a lot worse for sure but certainly no early heat on the way. High teens maybe low 20s at the very best. In the sun though it's going to feel nice enough.

Well we had about a 5 minute burst of moderate rain on the back of the front, but other than that nothing to wet the ground. Answers on a postcard why this front delivered so little. As said in very hot air cold fronts can do this, but we don't have that. All very strange.

A very quiet clement spell of weather ahead, one thing for certain the weather won't be making the headlines this week. Will be struggling to comment on much.

Yet another decent day, 4th in a row and although we measured last years decent periods in weeks rather than days, it’s quite unusual so far for 2023.

a definitely cooler feel to things compared to the weekend but not bad all the same and hopefully the dry, if not overly warm set up looks like continuing for several more days.

A fine day, max temp an average 15.5 degrees, very brief though, much of the afternoon has seen temps around 13 or 14 degrees with a cool breeze and fair amount of cloud, so feeling a little cool. Odd sprinkle of rain not long ago, and perhaps slight smattering again very soon.

Can see a fairly lengthy dry spell in the main for the foreseeable, lots of good outdoor type weather but nothing especially warm for the time of year. As said its turning into a classic 'warming' Spring, very seasonal, very very normal unusually ! A heat burst for late spring bank holiday all that is needed now.

Yet another decent spring day here. A single shower early on this morning, but dry since with plenty of sunshine. A high of 14.4C which is down a bit on previous days, but still felt pleasant out despite the breeze.

Lovely day here, sometimes a touch on the cool side, max temp 14.2°.  Not seen any rain. Still needing to wear a warm coat walking to work early in the morning, then end up carrying it walking home.
