There it goes again thought I might have heard something but not sure. Very infrequent but better than nothing.

Flow direction is going to take it up the Mersey so nowhere near me but would have been good in old house.

Cool, dark and the ground damp.  A bit misty too, felt colder in the night than the 9°C the temp dropped to.  Could have a brighter afternoon once the rain showers move away east.

Exceptional flooding here. Had about 50mm of rain last night with the rain gauge hitting a 80mm per hr mark.

Everything flooded. Alot of cars ruined.

Cant believe this isnt on the news. Never seen anything like this.

Local golf course is under alot of water. Roads closed.

Just taken our new puppy out in the garden for her early toilet visit and there is a real autumnal feel this morning. The air is still, misty and damp with everything coated in tiny water droplets. The spiders have been busy overnight as there are webs everywhere. Not a drop of rain here yet so we seem to have got away with that so far.

Constant rain since I woke this morning. Accompanied my daughter's driving practice up to Broadway for her last day at the leisure centre there before going back to uni. Probably the heaviest train she's driven in, the roads were awash. Hope it dries up later, all our plans are outdoors!

Absolutely lashing it down here since just before 6am. I'd say easily, 10mm+ of rain. Feels very cool outside. Summer is well and truly gone now and we're into Autumn now, no doubt about that.

Brightening up a bit now, radar gives a hint that this rain might be on the way out.

Bright and drizzly here in Newquay.  Might get on the beach tomorrow as its forecast a dry day with sunny spells although cool at 18°C.

I see back home has been something of a washout with bonus thunder.

@WillinGlossop, I'll be watching the match later in the onside bar.

C'mon City
