Had rain late evening, noticed skies were clear about 2.30am, however temp didn't drop much below 6°C.  Heard the odd gust of wind which has dried up most of the ground.  Feel a bit in limbo land at the moment, no significant cold event on the horizon and too early to get excited about Spring, saying that my Daffs are growing well and the birds are getting more vocal in the morning.

Very gusty winds in the night, but have eased a lot now. Clear breaks at the moment and may turn into another decent day around these parts.

Just watched Airbus Beluga XL land from hotel at Toulouse Blagnac Airport… Great view (not my photo )

They fly over Glossop Monday to Friday to and from Chester.

Talk of a freezing day after tomorrow April in the mod thread we're not even in February yet and no one knows what's going to happen with the fabled Scandi high in the next few weeks never mind April

A mild start for a change this morning, currently 8.8C and overcast with drizzly rain.

Bits and pieces of rain still after overnight rain, but signs of it clearing with blue skies to the west and north..

Quite a contrast here with bright even sunny weather and a minimum of little showers in the gusty wind. Not a bad day apart from the cold wind.
