Always worries me when we get a calm winter. Are we gonna get a disgusting, unsettled summer?

Hopefully mate.

I'm fed up of HP dominated heat fests. LP in summer very often= storms.

Had rain late evening, noticed skies were clear about 2.30am, however temp didn't drop much below 6°C.  Heard the odd gust of wind which has dried up most of the ground.  Feel a bit in limbo land at the moment, no significant cold event on the horizon and too early to get excited about Spring, saying that my Daffs are growing well and the birds are getting more vocal in the morning.

Very gusty winds in the night, but have eased a lot now. Clear breaks at the moment and may turn into another decent day around these parts.

Decent day in the marginal, bright and generally calm. Now 5C. Shame I was in work all day.

An observatory captured video of the spiral formation flying through the night sky in January.

Need clear skies to see this sort of thing.

Talk of a freezing day after tomorrow April in the mod thread 🥶 we're not even in February yet and no one knows what's going to happen with the fabled Scandi high in the next few weeks never mind April 😂

Hold on to your hats, things are stirring in the MOD thread.

Garden path alert or the Holy grail.

I'd go for the former.
