It’s actually sunny here now but with a cold breeze it doesn’t feel anywhere as warm as the temperature suggests. Still yet to feel anything resembling spring apart from the odd day which even then was only just about warm enough.

Sun is out a couple of hours earlier than forecast. Not bad at 14C. Again it's exactly average but even sunny and average has been such a big ask this eternal winter.

Good for you, please enjoy it,  it is currently wall to wall cloud here and has been for days, whilst 13C may be acceptable to you it is still below average and has been more often than not throughout April bar the odd few lovely days.  And that is after a cold wet March, this spring would test the patience of a saint to be quite honest 😛

To be fair 13c really isn't drastically below average, it's only London area that I'd at 15c, most of the country sits somewhere between 13-15c right now.

Indeed the closest station to their residence has an average max of 12.7c today...so a 13c max is actually around average for there.

Aggravated a back injury from a couple of years ago. 111 is the worst service ever, called them and they advised me to go to the pharmacy despite being unable to walk, then asked me to drive to an appt 25miles away. My partner drove me to the hospital instead where I as admitted immediately due to the severity of my injury…..hopefully you won’t have to experience that and the queue will quicken up.

Yowcha! What they going to do for you? It's over a year since I first saw the GP! So a long old q.

Nope! More an annoyance. I have nasal polyps. So basically can't breath through my nose at all on one side. It's like constantly having the worlds worst cold ever as my nose is dripping like a tap too

Well well well sun out more here now and temp has shot up. A boiling hot 17.2c! Had to take my coat off on the way back from school run! Although that did involve a walk up hill to get there.

We came back from Marlow to a cold flat, so had to whack the heating back on. We left it off while we were away, but it’s still cold enough to the temps to drop in the flat without heating it at all.

Nice day outside, and looks warmer now. It’s going to be cold come 5 or 6pm though.

I don't understand it either. Even in the middle of winter, there is always that one person. No matter how cold it is.

You also always get someone during high summer wearing a long thick winter coat when it is 30 Celsius.

I just spotted one of my neighbours sitting in his garden in full sunlight wearing an overcoat. Why, you'll nae get vitamin D when you're wearing an overcoat! 🤔

Not much they can do without surgery which I want to avoid as much as possible! So it’s just pain relief and lots of it. Hope you get seen as soon as possible!

Todays turned out to be the nicest day of the year so far after that drizzly, damp start. Looks like it’s reached 17C so almost the warmest day of the year locally,

At last clear blue skies, feeling warm sheltered from the breeze, 14°C.

Tomorrow looks decent for the most part but the cloud and showers return by Friday and the weekend.

Yeah, wearing a jacket in mid 20s is just as ridiculous.

I wore a light jacket in 27c once because I was too ashamed to show to t shirt underneath, which had a coffee stain from earlier that day lol.

Lol I bet you wore shorts in January 1987 and February 1991.

Come on, be honest! 🤣👍

I had a coat on while out walking this afternoon and that felt warm at only 15°C, the only reason I had it on was because of the cold breeze. No way would I have a coat on if it was much warmer than that though. As for shorts, no I don’t wear shorts at all during the winter.
