Some real nice CB’s going up already here. Showers breaking out countrywide now too! Soon as midday hits and the updrafts gain a bit more strength, the sferics shouldn’t be too far away.

Well no storm forecasts on netweather or convective outlook. Looks like the met is the only one going for storms today.

And me lol

Interesting line of towers with very dark bases coming in from the west, let's see if it's still in the mood to do 'spinny things', but on this side of the Island.

What’s the reason behind no storm forecasts from netweather or others ?

At last, the sun area arrives, very disturbed skies but cold all morning, to the west and north now are visible convection going up.

The white lump to the bottom right is the rapidly growing Tewksbury potential storm....63 miles away!!

13:10 Starting to look stormy to west ,13:13 wind picking up, no thunder yet. 13:15 rain coming through hills, 13:22 heavy rain starting. (Think there's a cell forming to my  south)

Storm has exploded into the sea, saw a small funnel cloud across the Estuary but it went as soon as I crossed the road and had my phone taking pictures

Well despite obvious shower activity around the country its turning out quite a nice day here in herts..correct me if i am wrong but the showers seem very pulse like. .even having washing on the line is not attracting them. ...lets hope for better activity later this afternoon..
