Is it me or are some storms looking a bit more organised? especially down South

Thought I just heard thunder again, however it might coming from the tv and cricket from the oval!

Very active thunderstorm through London at the moment. The thunder is impressively frequent for a thin little squall line.

Got some nice cumulus congestus clouds here almost floridian

Hoping for at least one storm to be somewhere near here, and not moving away as it forms, or really far to the south.

There’s no reason for us to not have thunder…

We have had a few rumbles of thunder but not seen any lightning, so maybe that is why?

UKWW mentioning a developing sea breeze situation along the south coast west of Bournemouth, steering wind bringing this eastwards.

Nice big clear patch developing just inland - so this could produce some interesting developments as we head towards early evening… perhaps?

Fairly heavy little storm passing through Central London right now. Thunder every 30 seconds or so…

Just heard thunder, not too sure from which direction. Probably that cell SW of Selby...

This is absolutely nothing to look at but it’s putting out some loud rumbles!

Both of these cells sandwiching me are fairly active. Rumbles every 15 seconds-ish

Great info ta. Odd though because at the time the storm happened Lightning Maps didn’t record the live strikes!

Im sure i heard 2 very distant rumbles today but nothing was showing near by when they happened so it may or may not have been but some pretty cloudscapes again today.

Had an alright storm here but think uk storms are ruined for me now after what I saw in Slovenia/Croatia this summer.  Very tame in comparison but probably for the best we don't get those storms.

I went for a walk and got caught out with the build of this storm as it grow south while it was moving east / north east.
