If only it would reach Lincolnshire despite being in a warning area, but feel like were too North for early hours, but cells are firing up

There will always be a chance

You don't see this very often in the UK, a mass of thunder storms across the channel!

Can see not infrequent flashes to my south east - one faint peel of thunder too

A couple of louder rumbles here. Something is coming for us!

Uh-oh. Looks like the Gap Between Storms is going to be my curse once again. 😡    Enjoy your storms, all!

That large and very active storm seems to be heading north easterly asif it will hit Brighton and hopefully new haven and seaford. I’m a little biased

Saw two faint flashes to the east of here around 9:45PM so I am assuming that was from the lot of showers that were to the southeast.

Had quite heavy rain for a bit but there are clear skies now and I haven't seen any more faint flashes.

Better get off this thread now as I assume that's it for here and I think I am going to get quite upset seeing all of the reports of lightning going on in the South of England.

I have this thing that if I’m over exited I will vomit, we’ll I just did so guess that mean either I’m acualy I’ll or I’m just super exited. I think it’s the later. Also whey does the storm look like a little alien with two legs and stalk with a head on

Eastbourne’s skies are lighting up as the lightning from multiple cells are visible from here

I am looking outside to see the skies lighting up maybe because of the storm coming towards me on the south west side of it.

Very frequent lightning to my east but it's not gonna get anywhere near me. Still looking to my SW really.

Good luck, can't wait to see the pictures tomorrow!
