The convection is pretty wimpy, unfortunate. Last nice day tomorrow before the rain returns, seems to love focussing on Saturdays does north west rain

There’s rain in this lot. Super marginal. Knew it would be with a direct W’erly. Even under super cold uppers and surface temps were struggling. Wow.

Im thinking that, but from models there was always an appetizer around 6pm, with another lot moving through 8-10pm... and the radar supports this

Not sure we want it. It’s started raining here now. The colder uppers are being mixed out and dew points are soaring

Looking at the latest radar I can’t see Manchester getting any snow this evening.

Coming down nicely, everything white over. Looks like this may be the final hurrah for snow in this cold spell.

Cheshire Gap Light snow shower passing through giving a slight dusting currently.

Can’t see much happening here, especially as apps now say snow showers  
edit my app has now deleted said snow shower

temp was -4c rose to -3c but dropped back again now… some cloud about but mostly clear… edit -5c now

met office saying 80% chance of heavy snow shower at 10pm

Looking at the radar, we might just get something shortly from a shower heading in from the north west.

I’m sure we’ll know within the next fifteen minutes or so.

App on tablet here, just flashed up snow showers at 20.30.  Glad a few have had a covering so far.
