Looks like the north sea may have given us what it can offer. Not much else behind this blob of showers.

Think new ones should pop up as the colder 850s reach our shores!

UKV has massively underdone the amount of precipitation and even it has showers going until 7/8PM so would be surprised if it stopped so soon.

The current ppn is producing moderate slowflakes here - it's taking time to reach the ground.

There should also be a subtle change in wind direction at the 850hPa level. More of an easterly component might bring a bit more of the region into play as well.

Looking on satellite seems like a messy streamer is setting up behind. The type that covers a large area but with lower snowfall rates. Lack of cloud tops.

Coming down a bit more noticeable now, in S.E. London.

Yes, agree Daniel. 

As you can see below, those -12c 850's over the Southern North Sea have moved away Westward, therefore the differential between the Upper Air and the body of water reduces, thereby weakening Streamer activity,
