All we can do now is hope for the best. The cold air should be starting to dig in now, a cold one with a widespread frost.

Generally -1 or -2c tonight

Tomorrow looks cold with temperatures only getting a little above freezing.

1c, perhaps 2/3c in sheltered spots. It will feel cold and this is pretty much the range of the temperatures for the whole of the week. It is a shame that there doesn’t appear to be anything of note in terms of precipitation, potentially the system affecting the north could bring some patchy sleet/snow in the north of the region and likewise the same could happen with the low moving through northern France for southern areas. I am hoping something will crop up that could give something decent more widely.

Colder air should be here by midnight

PPN mostly at zero all of next week, one positive that the ground gets a rest from the relentless rain.

Frosty and dry

Guessing the thread has been hijacked by a dodgy poster or posters....

Still 4 degrees here. When's this cold air supposed to arrive?

You'll probably find daily maxes will be warmer than last week...generally between 2 and 5c here over the last few days, can't see them being any lower than this with the long sea track.

Getting a sleety mix coming down atm - showers off the North Sea

Probably my best hope of seeing anything in the next few days

Just got a notification from my weather station that the temperature is below 3 degrees. It's starting everyone. 🥳

Pub run has pivoted the low a little more north. Still not great but heading in a better direction

Still find the way wednesday's low is modelled a little strange. It starts barreling towards the nederlands and then suddendly flattens out as if to squeeze through the channel like it's a pipe. Still think it will correct further north

Apparently both ICON and GEM have moved the low further north again on the latest run, not sure by how much? I've no idea where to find charts lol

Haven't posted in that section or broken any rules in that group for awhile, as seen by 2014 Lol

He posted in the thread that everyone's post would be looked at first, to many off topic posts at some point I guess. Was at darts so apart from that I've no idea.

It's the low in the north sending a front south, it sort of squeezes it away, that comes down slower, low will be slightly further north, all depends on the low up north.

Hi everyone, very long time no post!
Despite the models having had a more Southerly flow for the low on Tuesday night/Wednesday recently, there do seem to be indications (plus uncertainty with the BBC forecasters), this low could (and I mean could) actually have a slightly bigger impact near the coast. I have a feeling that we might not all miss out on something midweek.
I'll no doubt be eating my words on Wednesday, but it's not over yet.

Very cold out there this morning -2° , shame the predicted snow events across the country fizzled out again but , we should be use to it on this little island of ours by now.

Just to keep a bit of interest going the GEM pivots Wednesday's low up across Kent.

image.thumb.png.dbf571945faf6ecbe4fbf74de38c52e1.png

And ECM moves if further north running along southern coastal counties.

I will take any crumb of hope so thank you 😊

This morning has started sunny and colder, currently coldest it’s been since midnight at -0.3c and a DP of -2.7c.

Good luck today for any snow showers clipping those of you in Norfolk and Suffolk!

GFS pivoting back after a fairly poor weekend of runs for SE snow.

12z really only hitting the south coast but run by run it is moving back north.

Oh no! I imagine that’ll also be us on the south coast on Wednesday!  Hoping we all get to see a bit of snow this week.
